Tenebris, the capital of the newest kingdom of the human empire, embodied exploration and ambition. After discovering new lands beyond the desert, the Empire established a fledgling kingdom led by brave explorers and enterprising adventurers.

With the formation of the Adventurer’s Guild, strong fighters from the second kingdom, nobles and commoners alike, leveraged their military skills to aid the expansion of the empire and secure their fortunes. This diversity, however, has in recent years widened a political divide between Tenebris and the rest of the empire.

Despite this, the kingdom’s abundant resources have benefited the empire’s economy, even persuading traditionalist nobles to accept the gains. The human empire relentlessly marches forward, driven by exploration and boundless horizons.

The Erethon Forest, an ancient and mysterious expanse of lush, deep green foliage, stretches far and wide across the landscape. Shrouded in a delicate veil of magic, the forest plays host to a myriad of fantastical creatures and beings, each more captivating and formidable than the last.

According to legend, the forest was once a typical woodland, abundant with life but devoid of any enchantments. However, centuries ago, a great cosmic event infused the very core of the forest with a boundless magical energy, transforming both its flora and fauna into otherworldly entities. This mystical melding gave rise to an astonishing assortment of monsters, their powers and abilities transcending the wildest dreams of even the most experienced adventurers.

As a tribute to the relentless pursuit of knowledge, a magnificent statue adorns the grounds of the Historian Order, honoring its esteemed founder, Paretus. This masterfully crafted monument serves as a perpetual reminder of the man whose passion for scholarship and enlightenment established the organization.

Paretus, born into humble beginnings, showcased an insatiable curiosity and a natural aptitude for learning. He committed to collecting, preserving, and sharing knowledge and history throughout his life, ultimately becoming a respected scholar and a guiding light for wisdom. His unwavering dedication led to the Historian Order, attracting those who shared his vision of a world empowered by truth.

Beyond his scholarly accomplishments, Paretus championed equal access to education, breaking down barriers and bridging divides to make learning accessible to all, irrespective of their background.

ORACLE OF SI'ILA

THE ALL-SEEING OUTCAST

Built by the Mara Si’ila, who long ago fled the rule of Kra’ah Vanir and the unforgiving desert out of distaste and ventured far to the south long before human adventurers, this temple stands as her solitary dominion.

Though isolated, the temple and its surrounding gardens are a breathtaking sight to behold, considerable in size and many purposed. Although living in solitude for the past few centuries, she does not oppose the growing population of humans with the continuing expansion of the Third Kingdom, simply requesting that they do not encroach too close to her lands.

Si’ila has cultivated over her many centuries of life the magic of foresight, lending her prophetic powers to those whom seek her out if she deems them and their cause worthy.
