Et Xela Kra’ah

Reading time: 2 min.

The landscape of the Mirage Desert boasts a familiar theme throughout its expanse. Among the tenacious life that struggles to survive the coarse sands, among all of its unknown domains can be found a few entities above all the rest. Grand, imposing beasts who tear through the land oblivious to the fragile existence that scuttles beneath them. Each sunrise and each sunset that passes spent in this endless desert teases death to inch closer, a gamble of fate, every place except for one.

Tora Kra’ah, a sanctuary within the unforgiving desert, offers refuge to all who embrace its code of conduct. Yet, like every domain in this arid wilderness, it harbors a colossal mystery – and “The Paradise” is no exception. Kra’ah Vanir, the man of a thousand names, the man whose name could end a thousand others, stands as the eternal one above all. His strength and longevity are an anomaly, having lived for far longer than any other can give account to. Some revere him as a deity, while others attribute him as the mythical Pa’amek, a fated figure from Maran legends who is said to embody the collective will and strength of the desert’s spirit. While the origins of his power may be shrouded in theory, the feats he’s accomplished stand as unquestionable to their verity.

It’s said that the deeper one travels into the Mirage Desert, the more versatile the dangers they’ll encounter. At its center is Tora Kra’ah, a city unlike any other, and at the heart of Tora Kra’ah stands Et Xela Kra’ah, the awe-inspiring palace of its ruler. Rising majestically above the city and its surrounding landscape, Et Xela Kra’ah, built solely through the might wielded by Kra’ah Vanir, is a statement challenging all creatures who would call the desert their own. Its interminable interior is known in its entirety only to its creator, with endless rooms and pathways layered throughout its undisclosed depths. It is from this central point that control and security is vested over the city, as it has been for the countless ages of its existence.
